This is in no way a commercial grade machine. It will not suffice at a coffee shop

This is for a gift and I don`t drink coffee. Does it use filters? Can you also reccomend a coffee to buy?

No filter used. Espresso beans from local roastery or finer grocers ! To appreciate the gift the giftee must not be the push a button and go type. Pulling an attention to detail and hands on espresso takes no more than 3 minutes - including clean up. Cappuccino or latte takes another 1.5 minutes max.

Is this machine can use 220volt
A.
Both the Espresso machine and the electric grinder have a 2-prong power plug. Both machines are only made for 120V power, suitable for use in North America.
