EASY CLEANING

Fill the water tank with 12 table spoons of water and 3 table spoons of household scale remover. (or use citric acid at a 3% ratio instead of professional scale remover, which can be bought at a pharmacy)

Then close the lid, place a coffee cup on the drip tray, and press the power button to descale the machine. Empty and rinse cup after finishing. Pour about 8oz. of pure water into water tank and press Power Button to start rinsing process until the light turns off.

1. I bought this coffee maker for my office. I tried this brewer with two different brands of Keurig pods. After several brewings, the coffee continued to have a distinctly plastic taste. After contacting the manufacturer, they graciously refunded my purchase price. They also stated that they were aware of the issue, and were in the process of manufacturing this product with materials which would no longer impart a plastic taste. I truly appreciated their responsiveness and sense of responsibility. ***
2. This little thing is doing a great job for us. I got a sample pack of flavored hot chocolates through Vine, but I didn't have a k-cup machine. Since it was only for the hot chocolate, I didn't want to spend a fortune on one, plus we have limited counter space.
   
   Water reservoir holds 12 oz. The little platform for the cup removes for easy cleaning or using larger mugs. It also comes with 3 reusable cups so you can still buy bulk or just plain cheaper-than-k-cup-pkgs and make them yourself. They work very well and are surprisingly sturdy.
   
   Very easy to use - unlock lid, put k-cup in, pour water in the back, relock, hit start. Turns itself off when all the water's out. We haven't had any issues with wasted product, which is easier to test with hot chocolate cups, since you can see if there's any leftover product in the pod.
